Being that there has been a little controversy over the official forum rules, Ward and I talked and decided we would lay them down here for everyone to see. Forum bans will be put into action if people fail to follow these rules, including moderators.

1) Be courteous, kind, and obedient. This one goes without saying really, for it is what we stand for as a server.

2) Do not necro old threads. This means post in them if they haven't been posted in for over two weeks.

3) Do not post in ban appeals if you are not a moderator who actually banned the person who is appealing. This just causes arguments and controversy.

4) Anyone under LeadMod, do not post in moderator and admin applications. Period. This isn't us being selfish. It's the decision makers reserving opinions for themselves, and only themselves. This prevents someone applying, a moderator telling him that his app is good, then the LeadMods and admins denying the application and the applicant may get very mad. It prevents people from getting false hopes, and overall getting angry at anyone.

5) Nothing inappropriate allowed. Moderators can detect when things get out of hand, so step in and say something. You can also request that a thread be locked if you give a valid reason.

6) No spam. Please, make your posts ones that actually add to the discussion, not just random things that don't matter.
